Jan. 1951 Katsura Marumo founded Marumo Seisakusho at 9-chome Ota-ku, Tokyo.
Jun. 1955 Katsura Co., Ltd. established with a capitalization of 300,000 yen.
Oct. 1956 Japan’s first direct pressure hand torch burner launched. (patented)
Apr. 1962 Katsura got a patent on the LPG hot air generator.
Mar. 1964 Sales launch of the greenhouse LPG gas burners.
Sep. 1964 Katsura produced the burner for the flame holder of Tokyo Olympics.
Apr. 1966 Yamanashi factory established in Sutama, Yamanashi Prefecture.
May 1968 LPG regulator approved by UL.
Apr. 1969 All the LPG regulators passed the Japanese national assay.
Oct. 1971 Capital increased to 75,000,000 yen.
Jul. 1972 Company head office and combustion equipment factory relocated to Ayase, Kanagawa Prefecture.
Jan. 1973 The production method of the jet tube burner was licensed by Burner Systems International, Inc. (U.S.A.)
Oct. 1973 Exclusive technical collaboration agreement was made with Pyronics Inc. (U.S.A.) for the production and sales of the industrial combustion equipment.

Jul. 1977 Technical collaboration agreement was made with ITT Industries Inc. (U.S.A.)

Jan. 1982 LPG greenhouse heater launched.
Jan. 1983 Emergency gas shutoff valves were approved by Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd., Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. and Toho Gas Co., Ltd.
Sep. 1984 Die-casting lines started production at Yamanashi factory.
Dec. 1986 Emergency gas shutoff valve, the Gas breaker and Automatic change-over regulator with shutoff function, the Hybrid breaker, launched.
Mar. 1987 Yamanashi new factory established.
Oct. 1988 In commemoration of the 35 anniversary of the company, head office relocated to Naka-ku, Yokohama City.
Jun. 1989 Exclusive contract was made with Gaz Industrie (France) for the production and sales of the far-infrared ray combustion equipment.
Apr. 1992 Exclusive contract was made with Robur S.p.A. (Italy) for the production and sales of the gas chiller/heater.
Oct. 1992 Capital increased to 313,580,000 yen.
May 1993 Gas combustion engineering laboratory established at Kanagawa factory.
Oct. 1993 Under commission of Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, the development of the GG air conditioner started.
Apr. 1996 Field test of the GG air conditioner was done.
Jun. 1997 Katsura received the order for the torches of the torch relay of the Winter Olympics in Nagano.
Sep. 1997 The acquisition of Tokyo Gasdenro Co., Ltd.

Apr. 2000 The acquisition of Shin Nihon Piping Co., Ltd(current company name: Katsura Plantech Co., Ltd.) has become a wholly owned subsidiary through M&A.
Yamanashi factory obtained a certification of ISO9001.
May 2000 Company head office relocated to Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama City.
Sep. 2000 Katsura started to import bulk tanks from Mexico.
Apr. 2002 Yamanashi factory obtained a ministerial approval of METI.
Feb. 2007 Capital increased to 444,014,000 yen.
May 2011 Katsura Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established in Vietnam as a 100-percent subsidiary of Katsura Co. Ltd.
Sep. 2011 Gasdenro Danyang Co., Ltd. was established in China as a 100-percent subsidiary of Tokyo Gasdenro Co., Ltd.
Aug. 2013 Gasdenro Vietnam Co., Ltd. was established in Vietnam as a 100-percent subsidiary of Tokyo Gasdenro Co., Ltd.
Dec. 2016 Bulk Safety Co., Ltd. was established as a joint venture with Gaspal Co., Ltd.
Dec 2019 KATSURA VIETNAM COMPANY LIMITED changed company name as KATSURA VIETNAM JOINT STOCK COMPANY.
Jul. 2020 Capital reduced to 100 million yen.
Aug. 2021 New company name has become HEAT ENERGY TECH CO., LTD. after thermal facilities division of Katsura Co., Ltd. and Tokyo Gasdenro Co., Ltd. was integrated.
